Loved the jacuzzi room, felt like a fancy hot tub time machine. Super spacious and luxurious for a great price! Definitely recommend if you don't mind walking a bit. Will come back!
They thought I was a one-night wonder, but the staff quickly realized their mistake. Oops!

Everything here was amazing and my room was well-equipped and brand-new. The staff were helpful, tried to make the stay a luxury experience. I enjoyed that the food for breakfast was savoury! Its location was quiet and convenient, in a quiet neighborhood, and in a fabulous area. You can find Ikariya Petit very close to the hotel to a have lunch. The place was wonderful small, no complaints whatsoever, strongly recommend.

The park had a beautiful garden, a train museum , and an eco-friendly aquarium that delighted both kids and adults alike. It was a wonderful place to spend the day as a family, creating beautiful memories together.
For dads, it would be great if the hotel had a dedicated play area for children.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel in Kyoto. The location was very convenient, just a short walk from the main train station, making it easily accessible for senior people like myself. The hotel's decoration had a modern Japanese sensibility, which I found to be charming and tasteful. I particularly enjoyed spending time at the downstairs bar, where I could have a snack and a drink before retiring for the night.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is a more consistent English communication with the children working at the hotel. Though the staff was friendly and welcoming, there were some English communication hurdles that could have been improved.

The breakfast spread was amazing, with a variety of options to choose from. the staff were friendly, approachable and always willing to assist. the location was great with easy access to public transport.
The walk from the train station to the hotel was quite far, especially when carrying luggage. the rooms were a bit cramped, not much space for moving around.

The rooms at Shiki Suites are perfect for nature lovers like me, with plenty of greenery and a beautiful back deck equipped with a jacuzzi. I love how cozy and relaxing these suites are. They have everything I need, from a king-size bed to a sofa bed for extra guests. The private bathroom is stylish and well-equipped, with a large freestanding bathtub and Japanese washlet. I really appreciate the free Wi-Fi and the option to rent a mobile Wi-Fi device. It helps me stay connected even when I'm out exploring Kyoto.
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the high-speed internet access. I prefer to disconnect and fully immerse myself in nature during my stays.

The hotel was located close to three temples, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Additionally, the transportation links were excellent as the hotel was not far from the station.
Nothing to mention.
